Less than 2 weeks to go and already the 2011-2012 Winter list stands at 130 species

The MiroisEont list has 117 species as of February 16.  Please see the complete list at this link and click on semaine 11:

A MiroisEont member, me, found a Mute Swan on February 19 in Summerstown for a new total of 118 species; all these 118 species were observed by a at least one MiroisEont member.

The following 11 additional species have been seen by others (but not by a MiroisEont member):

Greater White-fronted Goose, Ross's Goose, Redhead, Ruddy Duck, Yellow-bellied Sapsucker, Eastern Phoebe, Great Egret, Red-throated Loon, Winter Wren, Red-shouldered Hawk, Eastern Meadowlark and Rose-breasted Grosbeak.  Have I missed any??

Last winter we had a total of  110 species within our birding circle. So far this winter we have a grand total of 130 species!! WOW!!

Please check out MiroisEont's winter list and let me know of any errors or omissions.

All 130 species were found in the official 5 counties birding circle found at this link:

Thanks and good winter listing,
